Become a Volunteer
The Animal Welfare League of South Australia is a not-for-profit organisation and does not receive government funding to assist with our operating costs.
We rely upon the generosity of the public and without the support of our wonderful Volunteers, we would not be able to achieve our important work. Volunteers originally built the AWL and we appreciate the importance of their continued contribution.
The AWL Volunteers have improved the lives of many thousands of animals.
Please note that until further notice we are currently not taking on any shelter volunteers or work experience students. Please refer to this page for further updates should this situation change.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We thank you for your interest.
