The Animal Welfare League of South Australia is a not-for-profit organisation and does not receive government funding to assist with our operating costs.

We rely upon the generosity of the public and without the support of our wonderful Volunteers, we would not be able to achieve our important work. Volunteers originally built the AWL and we appreciate the importance of their continued contribution.

The AWL Volunteers have improved the lives of many thousands of animals.

Create a Volunteer Application

Volunteers needed – Parafield Plaza Thrift Shop

The AWL is looking to for volunteers to help out at its Parafield Plaza Thrift Shop. If you are interested in becoming an AWL volunteer and assisting in this store, whether it be for one hour a week or multiple days, then please register your interest now. No previous retail experience is necessary.

Volunteers needed – New Southern Retail Store

The AWL is looking to expand its footprint into the Southern region of the State and will soon be opening a retail store in a prominent location. If you are interested in becoming an AWL volunteer and assisting in this store, whether it be for one hour a week or multiple days, then please register your interest now. No previous retail experience is necessary.
