Whenever you use our web site, or any other web site, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the Web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet browser. The unique network address of your computer is called its "IP address," and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site. From a computer's IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer, but otherwise it is anonymous.
We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes. An example of this would be when proceeding to a checkout to finalise an order you may wish to make. After completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to track your order.
For each visitor to our website, our Web server automatically recognises only the consumer's domain name, but not the e-mail address (where possible). We collect aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, information volunteered by the consumer, such as enquiry information and/or site registrations. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our website, and is not shared with other organisations for commercial purposes.
If you supply us with your postal address on-line, you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know via email email@example.com or call (08) 8348 1300.
Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such telephone calls, please let us know by sending us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will use for these new purposes only data collected from the time of the policy change forward.
Customers may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than for which it was originally collected by calling us at (08) 8348 1300 or sending an email email@example.com.
Upon request, we provide site visitors with access to all information (including proprietary information) that we maintain about them. Consumers can access this information by e-mailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
